Davit Vardanyan
Dance Director
Born in Armenia. Davit Vardanyan has studied in Armenian National School and graduated from John Cranko School in Stuttgart taught by Pioter Pestov. Davit previously danced with Semperoper Ballet Dresden (Germany) and Het Nationale Ballet Amsterdam (Holland). He became soloist in Royal Ballet of Flanders Antwerp (Belgium) in 2012.
– Davit was the guest teacher in Armenia national theatre and has taught in Japan, China, Belgium and Germany.
– Davit has performed featured roles in classical ballets including La Bayadere (golden idol), Swan Lake (Pas de troi) (Benno), Sleeping beauty (bluebird)(Ali Baba), Carmen (Escamillo), Giselle (preset pas de deux), Don Quixote (Espada solo version) (Basilio), Nutcracker (Pas De Huit) and many other solo parts.
– Davit has worked with Jiri. Kilyan, William Forsythe, Hans Van Manen, Mats Ek, George Balanchine, Jhon Cranko, Jhon Neumeier, David Dowson, Jiri Bubenicek, Ricardo Amarante and many other Choreographers.
– Davit won silver medal in the International Dance Competition of Bolzano City – Premio. Excellent in Italy in 2008 and finalist in Istanbul International Ballet Competition in 2010.
